Whisky is a grain spirit made primarily from barley, wheat, corn or rye. By law, whisky must be aged for at least three years in oak casks and have a minimum alcohol content of 40% (less in Japan and Australia) when bottled.

Choosing a whisky depends on your own personal tastes. We invite you to consult the pages of our different LABEL 5 Whiskies to find the best one for you.

Whisky can be enjoyed neat at room temperature, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. If you’re looking for a cocktail recipe, we invite you to visit our cocktails page.

Whisky should be stored in a cool, dark place, away from light and heat. An opened bottle of whisky can be kept for several months, or even several years. An unopened bottle can be kept indefinitely.

The ageing of whisky in casks is what gives it its aromas and colour. The longer the whisky is aged, the more complex and aromatic it will be. We invite you to discover our different whiskies on our “Our Whiskies” page.
